Over the last 3 days we have been happy to welcome a variety of animals into the rescue- 20 guinea pigs, 1 chinchilla, 1 parakeet, 1 pgymy hedgehog, 2 tortoises and 2 ferrets.

As our rescue continues to grow, so do our running costs. We now have over 100 animals in the rescue.

TEA animals (Therapy, Education and Awareness animals) is also continuing to go from strength to strength. We now have many animals involved in TEA animals all of which live here permanently or in permanent foster homes. Some of which include- guinea pigs, rabbits, pgymy hedgehogs, tortoises, bearded dragon, land snails, tarantula and many more.

These animals are vital for us to continue raising awareness and educating adults and children on animal ownership and developing peoples understanding of the vital work rescues do.

TEA animals now joins in many events across Yorkshire from school events, large events such as at stately homes, childrens parties and organises events specifically for the rescue.

TEA animals is a vital part of our rescue and being free for most events (charge for childrens parties only) we are promoting welfare to all.

However we need your help. There are many ways in which you can help us.

Word of mouth is vital for us, just by recommending us to just 1 person per day it can help us immensely. The more people who no about the work we do the more work we can do.

Donation of goods which you no longer require. This can be clothes, bric a brac, childrens toys -anything! We have many uses for this including table top sales which we hold regularly.

Donation of your time- to volunteer at events, hand leaflets out for us, display us a poster in your local vets or supermarket.

Sponsor an animal- This is just £6 per year and you will recieve a certificate, photograph and magnet. An ideal gift!

Donation of money- either monthly or 1 off donation. As little as £3 can help us immensely!  This can be done by cheque, bank transfer or paypal.

Can you kniw/crochet or sew? We have many patterns which can be used for helping us. Our products which are made for us are extremely popular.
