Bramleycavies Rescue was set up by Helen and Christine after realising the desperate need for help for guinea pigs. We have owned guinea pigs for many years and love and enjoy there characters and the enjoyment they bring.
We have seen the rescue grow and are delighted to now offer a safe haven rescue environment for many species of small animals
Helen- I have always had a huge interest in animals since an early age. I started working with animals from the age of 14 through a desire to become a veterinary surgeon. Unfortunately this never worked out, but I have gained much experience in the world of animals. I have worked in several veterinary practices, gaining a plentiful amount of knowledge and experience with animals. I also have worked in boarding kennels for dogs and cats and in the pet retail world- gaining alot of knowledge and qualifications in animal dietry needs, animal products and caring for them.
As well as my interest in guinea pigs, I also have a alot of interest and knowledge in breeds of dogs, showing of dogs and training of dogs in agility, flyball and obedience.
Christine- I have always loved animals and have always kept and cared for a variety of animals.
We have had several avairys keeping budgies, cockatiels, quails, parrots, bourke parakeets and much more. A variety of fish both indoors and out, hamsters, gerbils and much more. When Helen my daughter lived at home with us she was always bringing home animals which needed alot of care through being mistreated and we always cared for them bringing them back to full health. Our house has always been full of animals and always will be. Life just wouldnt be the same without them!!
